the kakapo is native to new zealand and i think it is green and had a short beak and the largest parrot

kiwis are brown with a long beak they are our main bird and they are endangerd animals
the kiwi is nocturnal and that's how they get there food and they put their beaks under ground and get insects to eat the kiwi has wings but it can't fly there are different types of kiwi

tui’s are also native and eat yellow flowers from a special type of plant

takahe are similar to pukekos but they are wider and shorter the takahe are related to the pukeko

the pukeko are like i said similar to the takahe and are taller the pukeko steal eggs from nests but are very protective over their own the pukekos can fly but there legs are so long you can see them hanging down also they can not fly very high
pukekos are blue and red but mainly blue

kereru are wood pidgins and make a strange noise they are green white and partly purple
